Peter Leue Designer/Craftsman

The restoration of this Gothic Revival farmhouse earned Peter and his wife an Historic Preservation Merit Award from the Historic Albany Foundation in 2004.

While assisting with the re-installation of Westminster Presbyterian Church's Skinner organ, the concept of Musical Chairs came to Peter. He developed the concept of 20 chairs with articulated seats to be "played" by 10 dancers, representing fingers on a keyboard. Peter also had been given two antique parlor reed organs, parts of which he incorporated into the work.

In the decade which saw the purchase and renovation of a Gothic Revival farmhouse and the design and construction of his new studio, Peter nonetheless spent time creating several unique pieces.
